One good thing about the stimulus|stimulus grants are awarded from the government to qualifying people. The bad thing is that hard working americans are paying for it. Plus it is difficult to determine who qualifies or not. I am writing all of this off the top of my head so bear with me if it seems silly. Is it possible the government uses the term stimulus just to get us on board and help them approve it? Maybe so, but it is being talked about alot. And we are talking about alot of money, around 800 billion, in this stimulus package. I like how the government throws around these big numbers lately too. They seem small after talking about them so much! The actual money set aside for grants in this stimulus is a mystery also. Another good thing about grants in this stimulus is all the deserving that could get it. Single moms and other honest families. Anything you can think of could qualify for a federal grant. The government is required to award grants every quarter. The new stimulus package requires even more. It should be noted it passed without any republican support. A lot of conservatives view it as a tax and spend bill but we shall see. Some of the bad things about the stimulus is much of it is viewed as "pork" depending which side of the fence you're on.
